If You Need to Replace Teeth
You've Got to Call Dr. H
Experience & Education
Dental implants can give you back your health, happiness, and confidence, but you've got to choose the right provider. Dr. Linel Holwager (known by her patients as Dr. H) has been in practice more than 15 years, and honed her dental implant skills at the Rasner Institute, where she is now an instructor and mentor to colleagues. This respected school is where dentists from around the world come to elevate their surgical skills to perform implant placement and more.
The Best Technology
Dr. Holwager's exceptional skill in performing dental implant surgery is complemented by a suite of sophisticated tools that make your treatment safer, more precise, and more beneficial in the long run. Three-dimensional X-rays will show here exactly where your implant should be placed to provide the best support, and digital impressions will ensure that your replacement teeth will achieve the best fit—with no need for messy old-fashioned impressions.
Comfort at Every Step
Every aspect of your comfort matters to Dr. Holwager. Her office is designed to be welcoming and relaxing, and she can provide sedation upon request to make your experience as pleasant as possible. Your feelings are also important to us—no matter what state your smile is in, you can expect friendly, judgement-free attention focused solely on restoring your health and happiness.
Complete Care In One Office
Dental practices often have to refer dental implant patients to at least one other practice. But at E-Town Smile Co., you can get treatment that is planned and performed by one dentist from beginning to end, with no need to visit multiple offices. This isn't just convenient—streamlined communication among a single team in the same office can help you experience the very best benefits of this landmark restorative dentistry solution.
Dental Implants 101

The Implant
Titanium hardware that is surgically implanted in the jaw, where it becomes permanently fused.

The Abutment
A connector attached to the top of the implant

The Restoration
A crown, bridge, or denture attached to the abutment, resulting in a complete replacement from the root to the chewing surface.
High-Tech Treatment
For High-End Results
Dr. Holwager uses advanced technology to ensure dental implants and other treatments are performed with exceptional safety and precision. These are just two of the sophisticated tools we will use to make your dental implants treatment a success:
3D X-Rays
Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a tool that gives Dr. Holwager a three-dimensional image of your jaw, allowing her to assess the strength of your jawbone and identify the best position for your dental implants. This information will reveal if you need any preliminary bone grafting, and play an integral role in planning an implant procedure that can provide decades of benefits.
Digital Impressions
Did you ever get a crown or other restoration that required taking an impression using putty? We avoid the mess of this outdated method by using digital scanners that take incredibly precise digital images of your smile. This doesn't just create a more pleasant treatment experience—it also ensures that your replacement teeth will fit comfortably in your smile and contribute to a properly balanced bite.

Patients Love Dr. Holwager's Compassionate Care
"Due to some life changes I had severely neglected my teeth over the past several years. Dr. Holwager could have shamed me for it and made me feel bad, and I would have deserved it, but she has NEVER done that and instead said “it’s okay. You’re working on it. let me help you get your teeth back in shape.”

Dental Implants FAQ
How long do dental implants last?
Again, a complete tooth replacement using this treatment involves an implant (which replaces the tooth root), the restoration (crown, bridge, or denture), and the abutment (which connects the implant to the restoration). While restorations tend to last 10–15 years, implants and abutments can last 40 years or longer with proper care. Dr. H can provide ongoing care to help you implants last as long as possible.
Do dental implants hurt?
When you choose Dr. H, you can expect a comfortable surgery thanks to local anesthesia and optional sedation. You may experience some mild discomfort during the initial healing phase after receiving your implants, but this can be easily controlled using over-the-counter pain relievers.
How long does treatment take?
From your initial consultation until you receive your permanent restoration, your treatment could take three to six months. That's because it will take time for the implants to fuse with the jaw, and this process must be complete before we can move ahead with permanent restorations. Don't worry—until you get your permanent crown, bridge, or denture, we will provide you with temporary restorations so you won't leave our office without teeth.
How much do dental implants cost?
Because this treatment is highly customized to the individual, a consultation with Dr. H is the very best way to gain an understanding of what you might expect to pay for dental implants. The most important cost factors are the number of implants you require, the amount of preparatory work needed, and the type of restoration that will be used to replace your lost teeth.
We'll Help You Budget for Implants
Implants are the very best solution for missing teeth, and we want to make this solution accessible to you. Dr. Holwager's friendly staff can help you budget for dental implants in several ways:
- You'll get an estimated cost of treatment at your first consultation.
- We'll work directly with your insurance provider. We aren't in-network with any providers, but you may still be entitled to reimbursement for certain stages of treatment.
- Our practice offers financing that can help you pay for out-of-pocket expenses in low-interest monthly installments.
